MASON is 2

Mason had the best surprise for his birthday...candles that keep relighting. He loved it.

A fun filled weekend is what we had for Mason's birhtday. It was over Memorial weekend so it was a huge party for 4 days. We went camping and had 2 parties. His party on his birhtday was at our house with my family. He loved his fish cake (he really likes fish), loved the kids, and LOVED the binoculars Shawnee and the boys gave him. We ate dinner, opened presents and then watched our favorite Sunday show America's funniest home videos.

Party#2 was in Logan on Monday with Garet's family. We all met at Grandma Cloteels house, which is always a treat, had dinner, opened presents and played. I decided to make a different cake it could be the only PINK cake I ever get to make. The best part for Mason was the candles that don't blow out. He loves to blow and LOVED that they just kept relighting. He was so cute he would blow, clap, say YEAH! And then poof they would light again. His little face would light up every time the candles would relight.

We had a great weekend it was so fun to party party party.

THANK YOU FAMILIES for being so fun and wonderful!

A fishing we will go, a fishing we will go....

This marks the first of many fishing trips and boys trips to come. All the boys went fishing to Ennis Montana. Or as Easton would say Mon-A-HAN-tana. Grandpa Ru couldn't wait to take the Little boys fishing so they headed up to Montana for opening day. Rulon, Garet, Easton, Mason, Dalton, Chase, Hayden, Parker and Kathy all went FISHING! Actually we all were suppose to go but it ended up that all the girls had prior commitments and the boys really wanted to fish opening weekend. I guess opening weekend for fishing is like being to the first day of a great sale (like the nordstrom half yearly sale), the early bird gets the worm! Kathy was a sport and went along so that she could take care of the little boys while the big boys went out on the river for half a day. Thanks to all of you for making it a MEMORABLE, exciting trip for my little boys.

These are a few of my favorite things...

(sing to the sound of music) Campfires and hot dogs followed with smores. Blankies and nap times I never get bored. Playing and laughing and wrestling too these are a few of my favorite things.

snakes and snails and puppy dog tails. Acting so silly shh I will not tell. These are a few of my favorite things.3 little boys smelling yummy and clean.
Grandma's and Grandpas and cousins and friends.
Aunts and Uncles to play and pretend. These are a few of my favorite things.

Once I remember I slept through the night. Now I just hold my sweet baby tight. Dancing and singing and riding our bikes these are a few of my favorite things.

Little hands chubby and cute, 10 little toes running about. Looking at the stars and the moon... these are a few of my favorite things.

Bouquets of dandelions and weeds, become my most beautiful things. Piles of rocks and pockets of sand, muddy clothes and dirty hands ...these are a few of my favorite things.

Crying and fighting followed by hugs and kisses. Sweet little whispers" i love you ,your the best est"... these are a few of my favorite things.
Laundry, more laundry, did i mention laundry. Mountains and mountains of good ole' laundry. No matter how hard i may try, there is always more laundry piling up high.
Cleaning and cleaning is so much fun, until i see what the boys have undone. The dust is growing taller than i can see, lets forget it and play hide and seek...these are a few of my favorite things.
Nature and hunting and stories to tell, the boys always have an adventure to share.
They really are so much fun, if only I was 21...

Feelings of doubt and fear, are chased away when my little ones are near. Praying that I will not yell today. ..These are a few of my favorite things.

Hoping and wishing they will obey, I am sure we will all go to timeout today. Heavenly father you know me so well.... thanks for giving me all of my favorite things to share.

The list can go on and on my friends, But I am so thankful that I am a Mom. Wishing and cheering and dreaming is fun and I wouldn't trade my life with anyone. For these are a few of my favorite things.

The cutest little mad face

Mason recently started to pull this face when he doesn't agree, or disapproves or dosen't want your attention. For the first little while you couldn't wipe this look off his face, nothing would make him crack. In fact his face would get more smunched and crunched and sqished up. It is really quite funny and sends everyone he pulls this face at into a big old belly laugh. He's our little spunky, chunky monkey.

Why do people need to say...

"My you sure do have your hands full." or "You've got your hands full" or "Look at you wow your hands are full." "Are you mormon, how many are you going to have?" The comments go on & on.

As if I didn't know that I have 3 small kids. Sometimes i want to lash out and say, Really with what? or you have eyes, good observation. The funny thing is they say it in a negative way and they say it whether my boys are perfect little angels or wrestling in the grocery cart. Well I have decided that when I hear this I wil respond by saying: " I am such a lucky girl" or "there is nothing better to have your hands full of. " Lately I chuckly and say "I love it and I planned it." I have realized that by responding positively and with the biggest smile it shuts them right up.

LAUREN came to play HOORAY!!

Lauren came to town and we had a BLAST! Kathy and Rulon picked her up and we all met to have a birthday lunch for Garet. Lauren is so sweet everytime she see's the kids she brigs theme a special surpise like the sea shells above. We then went to a park and had our easter egg hunt with Kathy and Rulon since they were in Mexico for easter. It was so fun. They hid a bunch of eggs for the boys and hid their baskets, the boys LOVED it.
Then a few days later we got to go meet up with all of them again at Grandma Cloteels house in Logan. We went swimming in her pool and as a bonus we got to see Meag and 3 of her sisters play in a volly ball tournament. That was pretty cool we haven't ever seen Meag play and she is a powerhouse. We got to eat some YUMMY firehouse pizza and salad for dinner and watch a little bit of the Jazz game with grandma Clo.
Thanks for a FUN FILLED time and getting us all together Lauren. We love you and miss you and we think you should come HOME more often.
