Bad news...

A little bad news. Went to the doc and found out that my mirena is lost. What??? Now they have to do some body searching to try and locate it. We will start with another ultrasound and an abdominal xray.
Hopfully they will find it and remove it easily.

Oh I Love the sweet sound of...

Money staying in my pocket. Mason is potty trained and it feels GOOD! I love knowing that I will be saving money by not buying diapers. It was way too easy. 3 days to success. And in those 3 days only 3 accidents 1 which was totally my fault. It is a dreaded task you have to take on. Dreaded. I decided to do it one day when Garet was out of town, we put on the big boy pants and NEVER looked back. We just did it. The next step trying to get him to let me help him. He thinks he can do it all by himself and lets just say it is better when I help. But it feels so GOOD!! And I am so happy it was SOO easy.

The same week Grayson took matters into his own hands and made the choice that it was time to stop nursing. We were down to 1-2 times a day and he then POOF he refused it and I didn't look back. Secretly I was a little sad because he is my baby. But it was time and I would have did it shortly after. It was nice that I didn't have to though. It was a smooth and easy process. So 2 major feats accomplished in a blink of an eye.

HOORAY for me!!!

We had a fun filled Valentines weekend. Brekyn and Bridger came to play all day Saturday and we made the most of it. We started by going to Shawnee's house, then headed to my house and made special valentines cookies. Easton and Bridger had too much fun playing the Wii, so Brekyn, Mason and I made cookies. It was so much fun.
What is valentines day without a special pedicure? This was our next fun activity. Can you spot the NOT?? Mason wanted his toes painted too...so I did it. He doesn't hold still and he like to touch them before they are dry. So he is easy to spot, his look a little crazy.
Then we gave Brek a beautiful up-do. Not too shabby for being out of practice for too many years to count. I LOVED wearing my hair this way when I was little. Still not sure who was having more fun, me or her? Got it on first try. Thanks Brek you are my little princess.

We then went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for more fun. We did a puzzle with Grandma and watched a movie.
Grayson ADORES my Dad. He got his wrestles and loves. He will not let my Dad out of his sight.
Then they all needed to wrestle Grandpa.

I was very lucky to have an excellent babysitter. Brekyn babysat Gray (with help from Grandma) so I could take the big boys sledding. I had a BLAST! And Gray had fun too. He loved the attention she gave him.

Let the races begin. My parents have the perfect sledding hill. We had the best time. Grayson even came out for a few runs and LOVED it. The only bad part was that Grandpa dislocated his knee. He straddled the sled, slipped on ice, and that was all it took. One wrong slippery step. He is pretty sore and swollen. Lots of ice packing and his brace, but he will heal up okay in time. As for me, I felt like a kid again. I have been in the child bearing years and forgot how much fun all this is. Glad that I am back in playing action.

And to finish it all...A snowball throwing contest. We had to see who could throw it the farthest, who could make and throw the biggest snowball, and who could make the best splash. I am telling ya there is no down time when it comes to boys. It is one thing to the next and it is so much fun.
After all of this we went inside to a yummy home cooked dinner. Hot and ready to eat. Thanks family for yet another fun weekend. It is so much fun to have family close by. Not sure what I'd do while Garet is traveling with out all of you.

X's and O's all day...

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY DADDY! We love you in case you didn't notice. Sure wish you were here to celebrate with us. It has been many years since we have actually been together to celebrate V-DAY. Garet travels to the Sportsmans Expos. this time of year and the PA show always takes him on Valentines Day. But we can still celebrate and feel the LOVE!
We are so grateful for your hard work and sacrifice to provide for our family. We are very blessed to have all that we do and it is because of you. Thank you Honey. I love you more than you know. And i can't wait to have our Valentines date when you get home.
I love this sweet, messy, everyday togetherness of ours.
I love sharing the connection that only comes from "doing life" side by side...taking the bad with the good.
Enjoying the little, unremarkable moments along with the big, unforgetable ones. And especially on Valentines day, I want you to know, I can't imagine a more wonderful man to be sharing my life with.
I love you babes and can't wait to be together agian.
Happy Valentines Day
With LOTS of LOVE
XOXOXOX

1 year photos

Here are a few of Grayson's 1 year photos. We got a quick session at a photo party with a local photographer. It was cheap and fast, but I think they turned out really cute. She really captured his eyes and his cute little teeth. He would not bring his hand off of his ear. It was so funny, but he was smiling. We love our little bug.

FIRST BiRtHdAy...Wed. Feb. 3 2010

It feels like yesterday that this litte 7lb 7oz. bundle of love came to our house. I really can't believe my little baby boy is 1. ALREADY?!! It feels like I just came home from the hospital with my little bundle last night. Time really is passing so quickly it just makes me want to cry. But now my baby is 1. Walking all over and trying to figure out how to run. Instead of being dependant on me, and never wanting to leave my side... NOW he wants to wrestle with the boys and he wants to go feed the elk with his daddy and brothers and cries so hard when he doesn't get to go along. I love him so much. He plays so cute with Mason and Easton. He and Mason are becoming little buddies. Stealing each others tractors and tools, blankies and treats, laughing and chasing each other all over the house. I think it is the cutest little stage ever. Grayson, I love you so much and want to wish you the biggest Happy Birthday! You will always be my baby even when you are taller than me. I love you and want the very best for you in this life. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!
I think his favorite present was this frog balloon you see in the background. He loves balloons. We celebrated with Kathy and Rulon on friday night. They took all 3 boys to fat cats for pizza and games. Then we had cake and presents for Gray and Kathy.

On Saturday night we had a big family party with my family. He ate all his dinner plus a piece of his birthday cake and 2 cupcakes. He is so stinkin' cute! He loved all the attention and loved all the gifts. Thanks everyone for a fun filled birthday weekend.
Oh yeah, He will be featured on Good Things Utah on channel 4 for his birthday. E and M were on it for their first birthdays too. It has been a fun family tradition.

Birthdays

Mason really loved her this trip. He wanted to go everywhere she and Rulon went. Even when they left he wanted to go. It was really sweet. He loves his Grandma and Grandpa.New birthday shirts and jewlery. We think she is BEAUTIFUL!
HaPpY bIrThDaY Grandama KATHY! We have a lot of birthdays this month. We get to start off with Grandma K. We were very lucky to have a sleep over with Grandma K before she headed out of town. We had a little birthday party for her and Grayson. We made her favorite cake, gave her a new shirt and necklace...isn't she GORGEOUS! Mason told her she was cute. We LOVED having her and Rulon here. Grandma Kathy we think you are super special and we love to spend time with you. You have a way of making us feel so special and loved. You are always thoughtful and selfless. You are the prime example of what a mother, grandmother and friend should be. We truly love you and hope you have a FABULOUS birthday today.
