We celebrated our 7 year anniversary on the 28th of April. I cannot believe it has been that long, I guess time flies when you are happy and in love. This is what life is about. Being a happy family, spending all your time together, and loving one another. Our life togther so far has been a fairy tale. Seriously, I can't think of anything I would do different. When we woke up I got out all our photo albums of our time dating---up to our wedding day. It was so fun to look back and remember how much fun we have had together. We watched our wedding video, Easton was funny he liked watching it but said he didn't want to get married. Later that day Garet had to go to logan for some ranch supplies so the kids and I met up with him and went to Logan. It was so perfect because that is where we were married. We went up to the Temple and I still felt the same excitement and tickles in my tummy as I did 7 years ago. It was really fun. Then we took the kids to the Willow Park Zoo and playground and to Great Grandma Clo's house. It really was a perfect day for us. We were together, and got to go back to the temple where we were married for time and all eternity. Our lives have changed and we have grown but the most important thing is still the same...we are in love and happy together. Happy anniversary babe I look for ward to each and every moment with you. We have a wonderful life and I am so happy to go through this journey with you.

The whole fam Grandma, Grandpa, Shell, Todd, Brenon, Brikelle, Bridger, Brekyn, the 4 of us and Shawnees boys Wyatt and Ty went on a bike ride out on Antelope Island. It was soo much fun. So Happy together

My 2 little boys have so much fun together. They race around the house on thier bikes and walkers. As soon as Mason gets confident in his walking abilites they will have even more fun. This summer will be fun watching them chase each other all over the neighborhood. It is fun to see what good friends they are and watching the bond grow stronger daily.
I love my boys! Obviously... my blog is all about them.

First 5K

My inspiration! Meagan and I after the race.

The total group that ran. These are some of Meag's friends that ran too.

Me coming to the finish. YEAH!!
Here is my story. Meagan was really the inspiration behind it all. She has been living with us now for about 4 months and she has invited me to go to the gym with her, run with her ect., but due to my crazy traveling schedule I haven't done it. So she brought home a paper for the primary childrens 5k run and we signed up together. I started running seriously 5 days before the race, and those of you who know me, know I have not done any exercising for a LOT of years (besides chasing kids and daily life). I did impress myself though, the first day of running I nearly gave up a mile into it, but then just kept going and ran 2.7 miles. I was shocked to say the least. So by the time the race came I could do 3 miles for sure. I was a little nervous because there were quite a few inclines throughout the course, but I managed, kept a good pace, and came to the finish at 32.29 minutes. I averaged a 9.3 minute mile, and the course ended up being 3.5 miles instead of 3 miles. I was happy that I was able to pull it off and I really had a great time. I just love Meagan and how much fun she is to have around. I am so happy to have such an awesome sis-in-law we have a great time together. Meagan took FIRST place in her age group 15-24, with a 27 minute run averaging a 7 minute mile. GOOD JOB Meag!
I will look forward to our next run on May 3, 2008, and who knows maybe, just MAYBE I will run a 1/2 marathon with Meags.

911 & Life Flight- But most important, The power of a Blessing

Our beatiful little Brekyn (white & purple dress) decided that she can do it all by herself. She just turned 2 and is very independant. She loves to push a chair over to the coutner and climb up so she can get a cup, snack, play in the sink or whatever. My sis Shellee is always telling her to get down and not to climb. Well Brekyn climmbed up and fell onto her precious little head. Shellee turned around to see her baby on the floor and rushed to her. She checked her out, told Todd to call 911, and then saw a small pool of blood under her head. Brekyn was bleeding from her ear. 911 came and called for life flight. They landed in front of their house and flew her to primary childrens hospital. Thankfully Grandma and Grandpa Coleman were in SLC and hurried right over to Brekyn so she was not alone when she arrived. Todd and Shell drove as fast as they could to the hospital, the longest hour of their life.
They did a cat scan and found a C shaped skull fracture around her ear. They kept her over night to make sure all was well, and she is doing great. I never want another phone call like that again...especially with life flight in the sentence.
Here is a key part of the story-Immediately afer the fall she was given a blessing. The power of a blessing...
I am so gratfeul for blessings and for all the blessings we recieve. We are definately protected and healed by them, honestly can you imagine life without them? I am happy I do not have to wonder what my world would be like without them.

Easton & Mason

Easton loves doing somersaults, and does them everywhere. I recently walked into the room just in time to see this...It was pretty funny but he could have been hurt. On that note here is my worst nightmare with him that happened a few days ago. He was outside playing, I was watching him from the house windows and would go outside to check on him, I would holler to see where he was,get his location ect. ect. He ventured over to Garets aunt and uncles house because they have cats and dogs he loves to chase. Well I got a phone call from Kevin saying that he had some news about Easton. He proceeded to tell me that Jean was backing out of the garage he paused, my heart sank I went completely numb, I said has he been hit, Kevin is he okay? Where are you? Where is he? Kevin then said well she didn't hit him but she came way too close. Luckily she was in her passat instead of her excursion and just happend to catch a glimpse of him in the mirror and stopped about 1foot or 12 inches. from him... way too close. It was seriously the most heart wrenching day of my life. So please don't make my same mistake, this was the first day I let him wander alone outside and it will definately be the last. My sisters neighbor was not so lucky, the same situation, on easter sunday, but her little 2 year old did not make it. I am grateful I was blessed with a warning.

On a lighter note. Mason has a girlyfriend. This is Oakley my sisters niece. They got to play at my niece Brekyn's birthday. Mason loved her or was it her great big flower. Well anyway they had fun, she is a cutie.
