Little Helpers

The boys LOVE to go feed and work with daddy. riding in the tractor, seeing the elk, plowing snow...whatever the job may be it is so much fun. We all took on the adventure together on this day and it was fun. It was a special treat for Mason since he doesn't always get to go. He has no fear of the elk, I have to keep an eye on him because he will walk right into the herd if I let him. They are pretty curious as to what he is too and I am not going to find out, but I am sure they would think he is some sort of small animal and may not be very nice. This time of year is great because we do get to go help and be together as a family.

He is on his way. I almost thought he was going to come while I was in California, but we made it home. As soon as I got off the plane my Dr. had me come straight to her office. She checked me out and is pretty positive he is HEAD DOWN! YIPEEEE!!! I am still at a 2, but pretty much fully thinned. I guess being thinned with your 3rd baby is rare. I am not sure why??? But my Dr. said it is normal with #1 but usually the babies there after you dialate and then thin. So she is pretty worried about me making it all the way to SLC to deliver. I have another apt. on the 22nd, and then hopefully 1 more before the big day view. Gretchen (my doc) said that if I make it to the 30th she will not let me leave SLC. So sometime between now and the 30th I should have a cute bouncing baby boy. HOORAY!

Baby update

I went in for my 32 week apt. and the little guy was measuring small. My Doc. sent me in for an ultasound and everything was perfect. The only problem is he has flipped into a breech position. I totally felt it too. It was sunday that he made the change. I was in the tub getting ready for church and all of the sudden he turned totally sideways. I looked like I had swallowed a watermelon whole. It has been bitter sweet, because the 5 days before I was pretty miserable. LOTS of pressure and pain and just feeling plain YUCKY! So after the flip, not as much pressure or pain, but now he is in the wrong position. I had another apt. at 34 weeks and they confirmed he is head up, and I am dialated to a 2. Garet and I were planning on heading out of town to Califorina for 3 weeks because it it now show season. My plans changed. My Doc. said I can only go for 1 week, fly home and come straight to her office to see if our guy has rotated to head down and what progress I have made. The plan is that if he has not rotated, then we have to do an inversion (flip him) and that means the risk of another C-sec goes up. I am not sure what to do? Try for the flip and another VBAC, or schedule a C-SEC. My recovery with the C was not fun and took A LONG TIME! I am not up for it. So we will see what happens at my next apt.
Hopefully the little man has flipped. However the way I am feeling right now I think it is doubtful...BUT there is still time.
Oh yeah, with the other 2 when I dialated to a 2 they came 2 weeks later. My doc. predicted that I will not go past 37 weeks and definiatley not 38. We'll see....

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! 2009

To celebrate the new year we headed to SLC. Dinner was DELISH at PF Changs, then we headed to the Clark Planetarium, caught a ride on trax to temple square, and headed on home. It was really a good time. We all loved it. It was nice to celebrate as a family and then come home put the kids to bed and spend some one-on-one time with Garet. At midnight Wolf Mountain, which we can see from our family room window all cuddled up on the couch, had a fun celebration to watch. They skied down the hill in a long line moving like a snake holding flares, and then shot off a pretty good display of fireworks. Happy New Year 2009 EVERYONE! I wish you health, happiness, and anything else you set your sites on.

PF Changs for dinner. YUUMMMMMY!

waiting for the trax train...very exciting for the kiddos

What a great place to bring in the new year, on temple square, with such a peaceful feeling.

Brekyn wanted to ride on Eastons lap, so they rode like this all snuggled up for quite a while. It was precious.

The fam together. Minus Shawnee and her family, they decided to stay home and party.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Christmas Day

This is what parker gave to Easton, and boy oh boy was it a HIT! The boys really like this jungle.

Mason LOVES this little fur real friend Charlotte gave him. He just kept kissing it.

Mason's BIG truck from grandma and grandpa.
Garet's cousins Amber, Mike and Camden.

After we had our family christmas morning we headed to Logan to be with Garet's family. We went to his Grandma's house and then to her clubhouse to eat and swim and party. It was really fun. Kathy and Rulon gave the kids their presents, which of course they LOVED and still LOVE! Garet's aunt and uncle and family came too. There was a pool so they got to go swimming with uncle Hayden, Gradma Kathy, Parker, Uncle Jeff and Camden. It is pretty special to swim when it is sooo cold and stormy outside. Eason thought that was pretty cool.
Thanks for traveling everyone so that we could be togther.
