First I can't get over how grown up Easton is. I would love to hear his little voice to hear him talk too! Second, Chocolate Town sounds like my kind of place. I seriously would love to go. Mason is getting huge! In a good way! How much does he weigh? Looks like you are having fun in between the craziness. Isn't that what motherhood is about.
Shar, Check out pretty much any restaurant on Mt. Washington, I would highly recommend The Georgetown Inn. Yes, it is the name of the restaurant. It's where Mike and I got engaged. You can see the view of downtown, and the ball parks, and where the Alleghany and Monogahela rivers merge to form the Ohio river. JUST BEAUTIFUL. Then also check out the Duchesne Incline, it's little trolly that goes up and down the Mt. Washington Hill. Your boys will love it. I would tell you to go visit Mike's grandma cause she's a hoot. But if you have time and someone to leave your kids with for a couple of hours. I would take a drive out to see Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water house.
Anyway, enjoy your time there. I'm super jealous. :) Ren.
Looks like some fun times! (mostly) It was great to talk to you on the phone, thanks for calling. Your boys are darling!!! I love the "cute things my kids say", I might have to borrow that. Travel safely!
EASTON: woke up in middle of night saying his legs hurt. 10 minutes later he said "Mom my legs don't hurt they are better, they stopped beeping". I think they were asleep and he called it "beeping" We went to great grandma Cloteels whom Easton ADORES! He was following her around the house and as they went downstairs he said to her " come on grandma, you can do it, be careful-don't fall, you can come all by yourself!" Once they made it to the bottom he proclaimed "Good Job grandma Clo you did all by yourself!!." Garet is in Ohio at a show and Easton really wanted him. He came up to me and said in a sweet sad/whining voice "Mom I want daddy. I need him soo much." I said I know he will be home on Monday. Easton said "Monday? I need him. I need to hug him and hold him, kiss him and love him, mom. I neeeeed my dadddy." It was soo precious. He misses him soo much. BARBAQUE EASTON SAYS "BARBACUTE" Came home from feeding and working with Garet and said 'Mommy the elk tripped on me." Meaning: an elk ran him into the ground, no injuries just a few small scrapes and a face full of dirt. I told Easton I had a delicious treat for him he said "REALLY! Oh thanks, thanks so much sweet heart" He continued to call me sweet heart the entire morning. 5/27/08
MASON: "DADADADADADADA" and shakes his little noggin back and forth in a no no no motion. Pushes his little lips together like a pucker or kissy lips, eyes closed tightly and blows. It is soo cute. He also screams at the top of his lungs if he thinks Easton is too close and invading his personal space. He loves him from a distance. Bursts instantly into a screaming cry, with tears streaming down his tight little cheeks, the minute he looses sight of me. The moment I return it STOPS, all at once, and he flashes a HUGE smile and giggle. Priceless! STICKS HIS CUTE LITTLE TOUNGUE OUT LIKE A SPEAR AND BITES ON IT. HE IS WORKING ON GETTING HIS TOP TEETH IN. Loves to laugh! He will laugh at you if you laugh, or just laugh at you to get your attention. It is soo cute.
