Pumpkin Patch

Shellee invited us to go with Bridgers preschool class to the pumpkin patch. We had so much fun. We started out with a story about pumpkins and this scarecrow came to life. He startled a few kids at first and then they were all intrigued. He told us some jokes, did some magic tricks and took us to the pumpkin patch.

My little pumpkin in the patch. Mason choosing his pumpkin.

Easton found his pumpkin.

Then we got a chance to be a pumpkin head. Here is Shellee, Bridger and Brekyn did not think this was a good idea. We tried to get the kids to put it on...but there was NO way NO how.

Here I am. Mason hated this, Easton thought it was funny, but did not want to try it. It is a real carved pumpkin.
This is a ghost machine. It blows a ball of air. Really fun.

Group shot with the pumpkin scarecrow. Again Mason not too fond of this idea.

Cute little pumpkins in the patch. Thanks Shell we had a great time. It was a fun way to get a pumpkin.

Chuckles and Giggles

Latley my boys have been so funny. They make me laugh so hard. They are getting so big and play so cute together. Helping each other, tormenting each other and just being so stinkin' cute.
Here are a few things that have made me laugh.

Mason has been learning to talk and saying quite a few things. I may be the only one who can understand most of it but that is okay I am good at translating. So like I said he has been getting good at communicating and holding his own with Easton. He has learned to swat you. I tell him "no hitting" , he will look at me pucker his lips and say oooh, oooh" and then wack me again. I again say "no hitting Mason" He'll do his sad face and sound and then just start laughing. It is funny, but I am trying to teach a lesson. He will also walk up to Easton hit him and then hurry and look at me and pucker his lips and ooh, ooh.

The other day while playing outside he came running into the house, I said "what do you need?" He looked around and said "dat, dat. Ran over picked up his gun and headed back outside." It was so cute. I have a picture of this I will have to post.

When it is bed time if you don't start singing he will sing to you to get you started. Then he sings along with you while you sing. It is PRECIOUS! When he gets tired he brings you his blanket and you have to put it up on your shoulder and hold him. MELTS you to pieces.

When he is proud of himself or happy about something, he will take boths hands and rub them on his belly.

Some words he says are: "Mum, da-da, E or Eas, dat (that), barks for dog and says dah, Apa-pa (G-pa), Ama (G-ma),rolls his tounge kind of like rolling an rrr which means here kitty, kitty, kitty. He makes all kinds of other sounds & talks ALL day long. The cutest thing is he understands EVERYTHING you say. He follows directions very well and will do pretty much anything you ask him to do. He is very smart.

Easton has been so funny lately. He says the cutest things and I try reallly hard not to laugh sometimes. Tonight Garet came home with a bad raspberry on his knee. East was so worried about it. He kept asking if it felt better and told Garet repeatedly not to worry because it would feel better soon. Then he came over and said "daddy does your knee feel better?" Garet said yes. Easton came over "Mommy, Mommy I am so excited! Daddy's knee is feeling better. But Dad you still have a chunck of your body ripped off."

Last night he looked at me and said "Mom your belly is SOO BIG!... Like HUGE! Does that mean your baby is getting out?"

Easton was going to make a trip with Garet to the ranch and Mason was really sad he did not get to go and was crying. Easton came over gave him a huge hug and kiss on the head and said "Mason I am sorry you can't come, one day when you grow up big like me then you can come with me and Daddy. But I gotta go work now so go in the house with mommy and I will be home later." He then looked at me and said "Mom don't worry just take care of Mason while I go to work."

He is really into shooting his bow and arrows and carries them EVERYWHERE! He informed me that I am just to "little to have a weapon like that". "So we better have daddy put it in a safe place so you don't get hurt."

Daddy-O's big debut...

My cute Dad was put in the bishopbric and because he is so obidient he shaved his long time pal...his mustache. There has been RARE occasion that this event has happened. Once he had to have a surgery on his nose and therefore had to shave it, the only other time was when he got a wild hair and shaved it off, other than those few times he has always had his mustache.
He looks like a baby face I think. Dad you are still very handsome and a great example of being obedient. We love you.
PS His lip has seen the sun so it matches his face now...haha

DRUM ROLL PLEASE...

I am so excited and proud to say that we have another baby BOY on the way. I had the ultrsound earlier this week and everyting looks great. He is healthy and a real mover. He was sucking his thumb, loved to have his hands up by his face, and yawned 4 huge yawns for us. He was moving everywhere it was hard to keep up with him and make sure we got a good clear picture of everyting. He had all 10 fingers and toes, his heart, kidney, lungs, liver and brain are perfect. He passed with flying colors. It is so much fun no matter how many babies you already have to see them in the ultrasound. I can't wait to hold him and love him. Babies are so wonderful. I am so happy for the opportunity to be a Mother, it is truly the greatest gift i can imagine.

Snakes and snails and puppy dog tails that is what our house will be made of. I was hoping for a baby girl, as all moms do if you have all boys or girls, but I am truly elated to have another boy come to our home. I love my boys and have decided to just get into BOYS, and love the fact that I am the only Queen in this castle. Now I can have more boys to dote over me and take care of me. I told Garet that I will just have to step it up a notch and really relish bieng the only girl in the house.

HOORAY ANOTHER BABY BOY IS ON THE WAY!!!
Easton was right from the start when I first found out and told him we were having a baby. I asked if it was a baby brother or sister and he without hesitation said "it's a baby Isaac or something." He has always known we had a baby boy. I knew too but still hoped for 1 baby girl in our family. I guess heaven knows best...I hope I can raise my boys to be honest ,sincere, have integrity, and be steadfast gentleman. I will need all the strength I can get, because everyday I learn more and more and I feel like my boys are always 1 step ahead. HEAVEN HELP ME! If you know me, you know I grew up with all girls, even the majority of our cousins were girls, so boys are a bit foreign to me. But I love them, and learn more each passing day, I just hope I can keep up with them, be a good mom, and raise them to the best of my ability.

Packages from Grandma Kathy

Thank you Grandma Kathy for the package. Easton was thrilled when he opened it up and found the "BOOTS" he loves. The little shoes Easton is wearing are Parkers special shoes. But Easton thinks they are ski boots and loves them. Parker grew out of these and so Grandma sent them to Easton. She also sent a snake and shirt, treats, and hats for both of the boys. It was a fun surprise for Easton and Mason to get a special package to open.
Thanks again Kathy, it made the boys feel special. Love you!

My silly billy superhero

Easton is my superhero. He keeps my on my toes and keeps me laughing. Tonight he said the funniest things. I don't think I can caputure it in the way he said them, but I want to remember it. It is always funnier when you hear it from him. Okay so I have really bad varicose veins in one leg and they cause me a lot of pain. I have to wear compression hose and Easton thinks nylons, hose, tights ect are really funny. So tonight as I am putting on my pjs he looks at me and says very seriously and with sad face and voice "Mom do you have to wear those titans so your bumb doesn't fall off. I am so sorry." I laugh and say thanks sweetie but I have to wear these for my bad leg remember?. He then says "Mom don't worry it's okay you can wear your titans so you bumb won't fall off and hurt...I love you Mom(and hugged me)."
Then this morning he put his head on my belly and said "OH MOM I can hear our baby laughing, that is so cute, that baby likes me." He is so cute. He loves to put his head on my belly and says he can hear it crying, laughing, talking...it really is precious. I love my Eastie pie.

Easton's first day of PRESCHOOL

A little late but here is a picture of Easton's first day of Preschool. He was so excited. Walked right in and got involved. He never looked back. He loved it. The last picture is of his teacher Mrs. Carol. She is so cute and such a good teacher. The program is really cool, they get to do singing/music, art, reading, writing, discovery activities, and tumbling. In the tumbling part they have a spring floor, trampolines, balance beam, and all types of other things that are super cool and teach coordination. It is a great, unique program and I am so happy we can be invovled in this program...and Easton LOVES it.
